Apparel Design and Merchandising Students of Fashion Network Association at San Francisco State University present Runway 2010: Nouvelle

Local talent and up and coming designers of San Francisco State University will be illuminating the runway with their collections and individual designs.

FNA Mission Statement:

“The Fashion Network Association (FNA) was formed to act as a bridge between the students and Alumni of San Francisco State University and the vast Fashion Industry. FNA provides the backdrop for students and alumnae with a passion for fashion to increase their knowledge and enhance their skills through industry relevant experiences such as; creating and producing fashion activities and events both on and off campus; developing and writing articles for their own periodical fashion newsletter; and by attending networking events with industry professionals to provide a broader lens through which to see their future. Through these activities FNA members gain real life experience in fields such as; public relations, fashion journalism, event production, fashion marketing, fashion styling and fund raising.”

The Fashion Network Association of San Francisco State University is proud to present Apparel Design and Merchandising students in their showcase entitled, Runway 2010: Nouvelle. This event will be held at the San Francisco Design Center at 101 Henry Adams Street on April 22, 2010 at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:30. This event is a once in a life time offer of uniqueness and creativity you won’t want to miss!

A portion of the proceeds will go towards the St. Vincent De Paul Society, a nonprofit organization in the Bay Area that provides direct assistance to those suffering, or in need. This organization offers a variety of food, clothing, rend assistance, medical aid, employment, and shelter and is an organization that believes that “no act of charity is foreign to the society”.
